National Conference on “Pedagogical Transformation in the Light of Indian Knowledge System” at Jadavpur University, Kolkata
Prof. Santanu Kumar Swain, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Sikkim University, attended the National Conference on “Pedagogical Transformation in the Light of Indian Knowledge System” as the Chief Guest. The conference was organised by the Department of Education, Jadavpur University, Kolkata. The conference brought together distinguished academicians and educationists, including Prof. Chandra Bhushan Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh; Prof. Chiranjib Bhattacharya of Jadavpur University; and Prof. Amitav Dutta, among others, who addressed the gathering and shared their perspectives on transforming pedagogy through the Indian Knowledge System. Prof. Swain’s participation highlighted the importance of integrating India’s rich intellectual and cultural traditions into contemporary higher education and pedagogical practices.
