Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Sikkim University, Prof. Santanu Kumar Swain visited Harkamya College of Education and Damber Singh College to critically review academic performance and infrastructural adequacy. He interacted with faculty and students to understand classroom practices, academic challenges, and support requirements.

While acknowledging ongoing efforts, the Vice-Chancellor expressed concern over areas needing urgent improvement and instructed both institutions to ensure strict adherence to university guidelines. He directed the colleges to strengthen academic delivery, enhance facilities, and demonstrate measurable progress in teaching–learning quality within a defined timeframe.
